GTA Online: Fastest and Most Efficient Way to Max Driving Stats
Are you a solo player on a low level in Grand Theft Auto 5 or GTA Online and wondering how to max your driving stats quickly? Look no further! Old Grumpy Gamer has done some experimenting to find the fastest and most efficient way to level up your driving or at least max out your driving bar.
It’s important to note that this video is not about cheating or using mods. The team at Old Grumpy Gamer performed a series of experiments using a brand new character with some driving skills above the base.
Experiment 1: High Speed Highway Driving
To start with, the team acquired a moderately quick performance car and hit the northern highways of Los Santos for about 20 minutes. The goal was to perform a consistent activity for 20 minutes and measure the progress by taking a quick screenshot before and after each activity. At the end of the 20-minute run, the team ended up with just over two additional markers of driving skill.
Experiment 2: City and Suburb Driving
For this experiment, the team grabbed something small and nimble and challenged themselves to maintain a decent pace without hitting anything. It’s worth noting that having a crash will result in the reset of any potential progress. At the end of the 20-minute run, the team ended up with just shy of two additional markers of driving skill.
Experiment 3: Hands-Free Driving
The team decided to take a suggestion from a comment and try hands-free driving with a vehicle with good ground clearance, using rubber band magic with the controller. Unfortunately, after 20 minutes with a few corrections here and there, there were precisely no additional markers of driving skill.
So, which method was the most efficient? The team concluded that the fastest and most efficient way to build driving in GTA online is to simply drive fast on the highway when there’s traffic. From their experiments, they found that this method resulted in building one full bar of driving for every 1 hour and 45 minutes of accident-free driving.
In conclusion, if you’re looking to level up your driving or max out your driving bar in GTA 5 or GTA Online, the team at Old Grumpy Gamer recommends hitting the highways with a quick performance car for accident-free driving.
