Are you a low-level solo player in Grand Theft Auto 5 online and wondering what the most efficient way to level up your strength is? The team at Old Grumpy Gamers has conducted some experiments to find out.
Firstly, it’s worth noting that this is not a video on how to level your strength fast without mods or cheats. It cannot be done. Instead, this video is focused on the fastest and most efficient way to level your strength if you’re a solo player on a low level.
While there are other more efficient ways to level strength if you have access to missions, such as picking a mission with no cops and thumping pedestrians, or attacking a friend or a second instance of GTA, what can you do if you don’t have those options? The team at Old Grumpy Gamers tried out a couple of activities to find out.
Tennis was the first activity they tried. They had read somewhere that it was a great way to build Michael De Santis’ strength in GTA 5, but sadly it did not go well. Next up was golf, and here they had a bit more success. The team was able to jump onto the golf course without any issues, and it’s a genuinely solo activity that you can do in a solo session. They grabbed a quick screenshot of the starting point and overlaid the same bar they used in the GTA Online stamina video. The team ended up doing two rounds of nine holes each, and if they were to do 18 rounds in one go and were a bit better at the game, it should take about half an hour to get through.
After half an hour or so of pretty ordinary playing, when they looked at the overlay, they ended up with an improvement of just under four points or around a third of a bar. Not bad, but not great either. That said, when you consider there’s literally no one else involved, and you can do this from more or less level one, it’s better than running around the streets thumping random citizens and drawing the ire of the cops.
The team at Old Grumpy Gamers may revisit this activity in a later video once they’re at a higher level and have done some more mission work.
