How to Register as a CEO in Grand Theft Auto Online

Welcome to our guide on how to register as a CEO in Grand Theft Auto Online. If you’re familiar with the game, you know that the vast quantity of things throughout the game make it impossible to remember all of the features. In this article, we will walk you through the process of becoming a CEO in GTA 5 Online.

How to Register as a CEO in GTA 5 Online

Assuming you already own the CEO’s office, head to your interaction menu by pressing “M” on your keyboard on PC, holding the view button (double square) to the left of the Xbox logo on Xbox, or swiping the touchpad on PlayStation. In the interaction menu, head to Securo Serv, then click “Register as CEO.” It will take a few seconds to register, and you’ll see a notification, and people in your lobby will as well.

If you receive a message that you can’t register as a CEO, it means your free mode session has reached the maximum number of CEOs and VIPs it can have in the lobby. In this case, you’ll need to change the session. To do so, head to the pause menu, go to “Online,” scroll down to “Find New Session” and select it. You’ll get the quit prompt, just hit “OK,” and if the Rockstar servers aren’t on fire, you should be kicked into a new session fairly promptly.

What if You Don’t Have a CEO’s Office?

If you don’t have the LS 1 million for a CEO’s office, you can register as a VIP instead. It’s a similar process, and we have a quick guide on how to do that in the description below. Note that registering as a VIP is not available in story mode.
