Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online have numerous features that players might not be aware of. In this guide, we will explain how to become a VIP in GTA Online.
Step 1: Check Your Bank Balance
To become a VIP in GTA Online, you need at least $50,000 between your bank account and cash in hand. You can quickly check your bank balance by pressing “Z” on your keyboard (PC) or tapping down on the D-pad (Xbox and PlayStation).
Step 2: Access the Interaction Menu
Once you have confirmed you have enough money, access the Interaction Menu by pressing “M” on your keyboard (PC), holding the View button on your controller (Xbox), or swiping the touchpad once (PlayStation).
Step 3: Register as a VIP
In the Interaction Menu, navigate to the “SecuroServ” option and click “Register as a VIP.” You will be prompted to add an organization name. You can choose to use the default name or create a custom one.
Step 4: Verify Your VIP Status
After registering, you and other players in the lobby will receive a notification. To verify your VIP status, check your Interaction Menu again. If the “SecuroServ” option is now highlighted, you have successfully registered as a VIP.
Step 5: Troubleshooting
If you receive a message stating that you cannot register as a VIP or the option is greyed out, it means that the free mode session has reached the maximum number of CEOs and VIPs. In this case, change sessions by going to the pause menu, selecting “Online,” and then choosing “Find New Session.”
Step 6: VIP Work
Once registered as a VIP, you can access VIP work. VIP work can be started in public lobbies, invite-only sessions, or solo sessions. Access the Interaction Menu, navigate to “SecuroServ,” and select “VIP Work” to start.
