Grand Theft Auto Online DLC Weekend: A Look at the New BF Surfer Custom

The winter DLC for Grand Theft Auto Online has arrived with brand new cars, properties, and storylines to explore. Among the new car releases is the BF Surfer Custom, which we’ll be taking a closer look at in this video. Priced at 590,000 GTA dollars, the Surfer Custom may seem slow and handles poorly, but with all its customizable options, it’s a cracking looking machine for cruising with friends.

The BF Surfer Custom: Design and Customization

The first thing to notice about the Surfer Custom is its design, which resembles an old Combi van. However, it’s much more modern and customizable. The standout customization option is the liveries, which include flower power designs, old beta looks, and more aggressive styles. The bumpers and exhaust options may not be anything special, but they look clean and neat on the vehicle.

For our customization of the Surfer, we went for a more traditional look with the pea shooter exhaust, an open roof rack, and a sunrise orange cab with a yellow pearl overlay and carbon black finishing. The roof customization options are pretty good on the Surfer Custom.

Performance and Handling of the BF Surfer Custom

While the Surfer Custom may not be the vehicle for racing or high-performance driving, it’s a fun ride for cruising around with friends. It has a slow and heavy feel, with a pretty ordinary turning circle. The engine node is a bit rattly, but that’s to be expected for a vintage-inspired vehicle like this one.
