How to Start a GTA Online Solo Session on Xbox, PC, and PS4

Grand Theft Auto 5, also known as GTA 5, is a popular action-adventure video game that allows players to wreak havoc in a virtual world. While it can be fun to play on a live server with other players, sometimes you may want a peaceful environment to train or complete solo missions. Fortunately, Rockstar added a feature that allows players to create a solo session in GTA Online. In this guide, we’ll go through step-by-step instructions on how to start a solo session on Xbox, PC, and PS4.

GTA Online Solo Session: How to Access

The first step to accessing a solo session in GTA Online is to exit your current session. Bring up the menu and navigate to the “Online” section, then click on “Leave GTA Online.” Confirm that you want to quit, and after a few moments, you’ll be dropped back into the story mode. Dismiss any mission prompt circles and then access the menu again. Navigate to “Online,” then click “Play GTA Online.” Finally, select “Solo Session.” You’ll be prompted to quit again, and once you confirm, you’ll be thrown back into the loading screen. When you drop back into the online game, you will be in a solo session where you can train, run solo missions, and wreak havoc without having to worry about other players, trolls, or griefers.

GTA Online Solo Session: Benefits

One of the main benefits of accessing a solo session in GTA Online is that you can have a quieter and more peaceful gaming experience. You won’t have to worry about other players attacking or killing you, and you can focus on building up your character or completing solo missions at your own pace. Additionally, with no other players in the session, you won’t have to compete for resources or try to take control of key locations.

GTA Online Solo Session: Platforms

You can access a solo session in GTA Online on Xbox, PC, and PS4. The process is the same for all platforms, so you can follow the instructions above regardless of which platform you play on.

GTA Online Solo Public Lobby: Alternatives

If you want to play with other players but still want a peaceful experience, you can also create a public solo lobby in GTA Online. This is similar to a solo session, but other players may still be in the lobby. To create a public solo lobby, follow the same steps as above to access a solo session. Once you’re in the solo session, navigate to “Settings,” then click on “Network.” Change your network type to “Solo Session,” and you’ll be placed in a public lobby by yourself. This allows you to play with other players without having to worry about trolls or griefers.

Overall, accessing a solo session or public solo lobby in GTA Online is a great way to have a peaceful and enjoyable gaming experience. With these step-by-step instructions, you can easily start a solo session on Xbox, PC, and PS4.
