Grand Theft Auto 5: The Contract Finale Walkthrough
Grand Theft Auto is a truly massive game, and between GTA 5 and the constant updates from Rockstar for GTA Online, there’s no shortage of new content and interesting things to do. In this video, we will be looking at The Contract Finale, Don’t withheld Dre for the new Contract Agency DLC in GTA 5 Online. This guide will walk you through the entire process, highlighting important steps and tips to make sure you get the most out of the experience.
Tooling Up
Before starting the final mission, you need to make sure you are well-equipped. We recommend grabbing snacks, body armor, a heavy automatic or a sweeper, a grenade launcher, and proximity mines. Once you’ve completed all the prep missions, head outside, and after a moment, you’ll get a call from Franklin. Head back inside and up to the client lounge then walk into the market to start the finale.
Starting the Mission
As you approach the area, hang a lift and head towards the rail yard. The game takes care of the cutscene, repositioning your vehicle, and plunking you into the starting position. Stay put and stay undercover. We found the easiest strategy is to grab a heavy rifle and shoot directly from cover. If you see a vehicle rolling in, lob a grenade at it, and immediately return.
Oh, and don’t forget about the yahoos on the roof either. They can occasionally get a lucky shot in. After you’ve taken care of the last of them, jump out of the rail car and run back to the SUV. Stand somewhere safe and take a moment to refill your ammo. You can open your quick menu that’s “m” on your keyboard, hold the double squares on Xbox, or swipe on your Playstation. Head to inventory then ammo then cycle through and purchase everything you can.
Taking Down Enemies
Jump in the SUV and head to the Los Santos International Airport. Head to the marker and grab an automatic shotgun (not the pump). This little mistake cost me a round of armor, so make sure you get the right gun. Pop the doors and lob a couple of grenades down there to clear off the first enemy, and be wary of door frames. Line up again, whip it up, and strafe into the next room, guns ablaze.
Switch to the machine gun and start spraying from the hallway. We’re aiming for some of the enemies hiding behind those luggage racks. Refill again and then run out of the hallway, turn right, take care of this guy, and run to the shipping containers around the corner. Park yourself behind this pallet, grab some cover when you’re ready, and then start spraying enemies as they pop their heads up.
If you have auto-aim, you can break cover, but we have plenty of ammo, so staying in cover is probably the wise thing to do. Don’t be afraid to lob a few grenades over too. They’re great for destroying enemy cover and can get mercs in those hard-to-reach places. Once you’re confident you’ve taken care of everyone on this side, move to the other side of the container stack and then rinse and repeat. After you’ve taken care of everyone on that side, move to the right sort of towards the portable stairs there.
Before you head too far, throw a few proximity mines as close as you can to the rear of the black plane. Then slowly, and I mean slowly, move to the right and push forward. Start on the first wave, keeping an eye on your health, and if you start getting low, run back to the shipping containers and stock up again. The pallets can provide good cover too.
Next, move across between the black plane and this shipping container. Once you’ve recovered, start spraying again. After you’ve sorted out any stragglers, make your way to the platform at the front of the yellow plane. Make sure you have full health and an automatic shot is selected, then cautiously strafe up the stairs.
Shorty Guns, unsurprisingly, is a little trigger happy, so you need to get a few shots off quick to disabling him. Use the button prompt to pick guns up and deliver him to Dre, then sit back and enjoy the fun for a moment.
The Grand Finale
After Dre’s world premiere and a couple of lovely shots, you will take control of the hyper car, and you just need to drop Dre off at the country club. Be aware that this vehicle is um, lively, and the sun can limit visibility, so be careful. Once you’ve dropped Dre off at the country club, there’s another quick cutscene, and you’re done.
