Grand Theft Auto V is a truly massive game with constantly updating content from Rockstar for GTA Online. Join us as we explore this fantastic little free mode mission that you can do whenever you have five minutes to spare.
What is Asset Recovery VIP Work?
Asset Recovery VIP Work is a totally free-to-play VIP work available to all players in GTA Online. This solo mission is designed for quick cash grabs of up to $20,000, depending on the vehicle you retrieve.
The payout for each vehicle depends on the type of vehicle we retrieve, with cars fetching $20,000 or so and bikes or “bikey things” only netting $10,000. This payout is pretty much the same regardless of the effort required to retrieve the vehicle.
What Vehicles Can be Retrieved?
Rockstar has made it really easy to get the maximum reward since each police station always spawns the same type of vehicle. If you head to Vespucci police station, you will find a Bugatti, La Mesa has a Comet, Mission Row has a Dominator, Vinewood Hills has a Sterling GT, and Sandy Shores always has a Blazer ATV. Polito Bay has an Electra but it is only worth $10,000. So to maximize your return and make the absolute most of your time, money-wise, we need to focus on the city-based locations such as Vespucci, La Mesa, Mission Row, and Vinewood Hills, rather than the more remote locations that have bikes.
How to Play Asset Recovery VIP Work
Before you get started, make sure you have full armor and a motorcycle. Then, register as a VIP of some description by heading to your interaction menu, down to Sakuro Serve, and either register as a VIP or register as a CEO, and enter an organization name if prompted.
Once you’re good to go, head back to the interaction menu, go to the first option “SecuroServ VIP or SecuroServ CEO VIP Work,” and select “Asset Recovery.” Pick your preferred location and start the mission. A new marker will appear on the map, so head over and assess the situation before completing your task.
For the Vespucci police station, you can use the gates to enter. There will be resistance, so make sure your body armor is fully loaded up. For La Mesa, drive up the overpass, jump on the outbuilding with a blue roof, and down to the car. At Mission Row, head to the gated impound back of the police station, and be aware that the gate is a bit slow off the mark. For Vinewood Hills, just head to the open roller doors out the back of the locker, and for Sandy Shores and Polito Bay, head to the bike and ATV respectively.
Once you’ve found your approach, load up on armor and health, jump on the vehicle, and head out. Avoid engaging with the cops unless you’re on the ATV. Just follow the GPS route, avoiding crashes as much as possible, and not letting them get beside you. If you get wasted, don’t worry too much, just make your way back to the vehicle and continue.
As you get closer to the drop-off point, the police will ease up a bit. Keep an eye on the warrant and the mini-map once the stars start flashing. Pay close attention to the cones of vision and work to evade them until your warrant clears. Finally, get to the drop-off point and wait for the cool $10,000 to $20,000 reward to drop into your account.
Conclusion
In conclusion, Asset Recovery VIP Work is a great mission for quick cash grabs of up to $20,000, depending on the vehicle you retrieve. It’s suitable for newbies, solo players, and can be done quickly in five minutes or so, making it an excellent money-making method.
