hi in this video we’re going through whether you should buy the
los santos customs in a gta 5 story mode
hi and welcome back my name’s Dan and i’m an old grumpy gamer grand theft auto is a truly
massive game between gta 5 and the constant updates and rockstar for gta online there’s no
shortage of new content and interesting things to do join me then in our continuing series
every damn business in gta 5 as we look at the grand theft auto story mode business los santos
customs before we dive in if you’re new to the channel we do how-to guides news and giveaways
so consider subscribing and ring the bell to stay up to date los santos customs becomes
available to purchase pretty early on in the game and can be purchased by franklin but is it really
worth it well let’s do the math you can purchase the los santos customs for roughly three hundred
and fifty thousand dollars for 349 with the default earnings at sixteen hundred dollars
per week now each in-game day takes roughly 48 minutes so that works out to a touch over
five and a half hours of real time for an in-game week and that also means that we need
209 weeks to break even now with that in mind that will mean a minimum of 1220 hours
to recover your investment so is it worth it well if you’re talking strictly about return on income
1220 hours is a lot of gameplay so it’s probably not even if you play the game a lot even if you
make a literal living off of a single playthrough chances are you never see your money back however
and this is a big however this property gives franklin free car upgrades that’s right you can
modify franklin’s cars completely free so with that in mind it becomes a pretty attractive
investment given the price of engine mods and some of the other neat stuff that you can add to cars
in this game i could easily spend 350 grand on mods for franklin’s cars but it’s your call if
you’re a car guy grab it if not don’t anyway it’s just one grumpy old dude’s opinion and thanks for
watching check out the video at the top for the next business or the one down the bottom for some
