GTA 5 Walkthrough: Mackenzie Airfield Arms Trafficking Air Mission – The Two-Side Airdrop

Grand Theft Auto 5 is a popular video game that offers a plethora of new content and interesting things to do, thanks to constant updates from Rockstar. In this GTA 5 walkthrough, we will discuss the Mackenzie Airfield Arms Trafficking Air Mission, known as the Two-Side Airdrop. Our goal is to help you complete the first story mode and maximize your earnings.

The first five air trafficking missions are one-time opportunities, and it is recommended that you take the time to get the bonuses and enjoy them. From mission six onwards, you only rotate between three standard drop missions. Our focus is on the two-side airdrop mission, which can be challenging to complete with all your bonuses intact.

Getting Started

Head around to the left of the cube, get on the wing, and as soon as you cut to the hangar, pull the stick and accelerator down and start banking off to the left. Once you pull up, throw your gear up straight away. The different controls for throwing gear, G on PC, or the left thumbstick on PS and Xbox.

The Cuban is a bit squirrelly under a couple of hundred feet, similar to the Vellum, but you will get used to it after some time.

The Two-Side Airdrop Mission

Once Oscar’s briefing is done, the marker becomes available. Line yourself up, and the focus here is low and slow flying over the targets. Keep the accelerator flat before easing off as you get close to the target, maintaining a low height of around 150 feet. Once the marker is over the top, hit the button for the drop, pull up, and bank right to line up for the next one.

The next drop is over the mountains, which may be a little bit of a trek, but it’s well worth the effort. The Cuban will eddy and squirrel as you get close to the mountains, so be careful not to causing an accident. Once you’ve lined up, fly low and stay flat out with the accelerator until you start your approach, then monitor the mini-map to ensure you’re over the target. Pull up and bank right to line up for the next drop.

Heading back to the airfield, avoid heading directly for the yellow dot. Instead, head to one side, preferably the far side, to line up with the runway. Come in nice and low, drop the gear and come over the trees without getting too close, and slow the Cuban down. Lastly, turn in as soon as possible, and the game will stop you automatically. As long as you don’t crash, you’re all good.

Conclusion

Completing the Mackenzie Airfield Arms Trafficking Air Mission – The Two-Side Airdrop can be a bit challenging, but every GTA 5 player should give it a try to maximize their earnings. It’s recommended that you take advantage of the first five missions to get all the bonuses before continuing to mission six onwards between standard three drop missions. With a time bonus of about three and a half minutes, you can still earn an extra 250, making it worth your while.

the first five air trafficking missions are all once off so you should take the time to get the
bonuses and really enjoy them from mission six onwards you just rotate between three standard
drop missions and while there’s no goal for this one per se it can be a bit challenging to get
through with all of your bonuses intact we’ll just head around to the left hand side of the cube in
here jump on the wing and then as soon as we cut to the hanger there just pull the stick down pull
the accelerator down and start banking off to the left that’ll get you out we need to pull up
and then throw your gear up straight away so that’s g on your keyboard if you’re on pc
or the left thumbstick just click that down on your xbox or playstation now the cuban is
a little bit squirrelly under a couple of hundred feet not dissimilar to the vellum
but you’ll get used to that after a little bit so that’s all good all right so once oscar’s
finished his briefing you can see now we have the marker there so just bank off to the left
and line ourselves up now the name of the game here is low and slow as we go over the target so
we keep the accelerator flat strap as we come up to the targets but then as soon as we get close
we ease off keep it nice and low sort of that 150 feet mark and that way the drops are nice
and quick and they’re nice and accurate so as we approach keep a really good eye on the yellow
dot once the markers over the top you can see there we go mark is over the top hit the button
off we go and then pull up and bank right so we’ll line ourselves up for the next one now
this one is over the mountains it is a little bit of a trek but it is worth the effort again
as you come up to the mountains the cuban will just eddy and squirrel and get a little bit tilly
so be really really careful with this one make sure you don’t accidentally plow into the mountain
which i’ve done i’ll be honest more than once but it’s still a bit of fun right there’s the marker
and same as before keep the accelerator flat out until you start your uh your final approach and
then watch your mini-map to make sure that you’re over the target so just bank in there’s the oval
and there we go that’s drop down so again bank hard to the right get back up and then we can
just start heading back to the airfield now the trick heading back to the airfield is not to head
directly for the yellow dot you want to head to one side of the yellow dot normally
the far side of it so you can line up with the runway so we can see the runway there
we’re going to come in nice and low again drop the gear so g or left thumb stick
come over the trees without getting too close that was probably a bit too close
and we want to slug this thing down as long as you don’t crash it you’re all good but slug it down
pull on the brakes and then turn in as soon as you can it doesn’t matter if you go in too fast
it’ll stop you automatically and that’s done time bonus at about three and a half minutes
and we got the extra 250 out of that as well thanks for watching check out the
video up the top for the next variant or the one down the bottom for some more old
grumpy game of goodness stay safe wash your hands and we’ll see you in the next video
