Only while playing as Trevor, after finishing the assignment Nervous Ron, The McKenzie Field Hangar becomes available for purchase for $150,000. Trevor obtains access to the fields hangar after purchasing it, and the Cuban 800 plane spawns inside.
When Trevor boards the plane, Oscar Guzman will give him instructions over the radio about what needs to be done.
Trevor drops weapons bundles into preset drop zones and bombs competing arms runners during arms trafficking air missions. There are five different air trafficking missions to complete.
After completing the first mission, a second one is unlocked after a set amount of time has passed, and so on until the fifth one is unlocked. Trevor earns $7,000 for each air trafficking mission, plus a $125 extra for each mission.
Each of the five tasks contributes to one of the fifty-nine Hobbies and Pastimes missions, but they do not count toward the game’s 100 percent completion goal.
Trevor will need to use bombs dropped from the plane to destroy four groups of Aztecas in the third mission. One group will be near a pier in the Alamo Sea; another group will be near the Great Ocean Highway, in the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness (exactly where the Deal Gone Wrong random event is triggered); the third group will be northeast of Paleto Bay; and the fourth group will be in a pier in the San Chianski Mountain Range (where the mission Monkey Business begins). Take the plane back to McKenzie Field Hangar and land there once all of the groups have been destroyed. The groups can be eliminated in any sequence, and Trevor will only be able to miss two times because he will have six bombs to destroy all four of them.
