Unlocking and Getting Gold in the GTA 5 Mission “A Starlet in Vinewood”
Join us in our continuing series of getting gold in every damn mission in Grand Theft Auto 5 as we look at the mission “A Starlet in Vinewood.” This mission becomes available after you’ve collected all 50 letter scraps, which involves traipsing all over the map and takes north of two hours. Fortunately, we’ve completed a guide to every letter scrap location, and you can find a link in the description below.
Unlocking the Mission
Unlocking this mission is remarkably painful and time-consuming. Fortunately, we have a complete guide to the 50 letter scraps’ locations, which you need to collect to unlock the mission. Once you’ve collected all 50 letter scraps, the mission becomes available, and you can dive right in.
Getting Gold
Getting gold in this mission is pretty straightforward. Peter Dreyfuss, the target of the mission, is so insanely full of himself that it borders on funny, so it wasn’t too enraging to get gold in this one. You’ll need to bring a bladed weapon, such as a knife, a max, or a machete.
Pick it up from the end of the cutscene after Peter kindly offered to allow Franklin the privilege of taking a full load in his mouth. Peter Dreyfuss, surprisingly spry for a man his age, will run away at full speed. Chase him down and, once you’re close, arm yourself with a bladed melee weapon. Crack him over the back of the noggin and maybe give him one or two extra for good measure. Once Peter Dreyfuss is down for good, you’ve got the gold.
Conclusion
Grand Theft Auto is a truly massive game, and with constant updates from Rockstar for GTA Online, there’s no shortage of new content and interesting things to do. “A Starlet in Vinewood” is just one of many missions in the game, but unlocking it and getting gold is a great achievement for any GTA 5 player. Stay safe, wash your hands, and we’ll see you in the next video.
