GTA Weekly Update: New Discounts on Vehicles and Properties
It’s a big week for GTA Online, with lots of new discounts and updates. In this video, we’ll take a look at what’s worth grabbing and what you should avoid.
High-End Apartments
Starting with a 30% discount on high-end apartment purchases and upgrades, you can do some neat stuff with these, like invite friends in and throw parties with escorts you meet at the Vanilla Unicorn. They also give you 10 additional garage spaces, and you need one of these to start certain heists. If you have a crew that you run with regularly and you want to do those old school heists, or if you desperately need more car parking, it’s worth investing in one of these. Otherwise, don’t bother.
Weed Farm
The weed farm is on sale this week with a 30% discount on purchases and upgrades. Before the expanded and enhanced update, this was an utter waste, but now it’s come into its own. It’s not super profitable, but like the other MC Club businesses, it’s pretty easy to run. If you have a nightclub, it’s a no-brainer as it unlocks the organic produce section of the nightclub warehouse. Otherwise, it’s your call, but make sure to purchase all the upgrades if you want to make a profit.
New Vehicles on Sale
There are three new vehicles on sale this week:
- The Neon, which is normally 1.5 million but is on sale this week at 30% off, is a four-seater all-wheel-drive sport that tops out at around 114 miles per hour. It boasts impressive speed and strong pulling power, but the handling can be a bit challenging.
- The Tigon, which is normally 2.3 million, is on sale this week at 30% off, bringing it down to 1.6 million. It’s a two-seater rear-wheel-drive seven-speed super that tops out at around 125 miles per hour. The Tigon’s handling is incredibly precise, making it an exceptional driving experience.
- The Nebula Turbo, which is normally 797 grand, is on sale this week at 30% off, bringing it down to just over half a million. It’s a two-seater rear-wheel-drive four-speed sports classic that tops out at around 101 miles per hour. Its acceleration is quite sluggish, and the handling is lacking, so it falls somewhere in the middle of the pack.
So, which one is worth adding to your collection? The Neon is a reliable unit; you’ll likely find yourself needing it at some point. The Tigon delivers impressive speed and formidable pulling power, making it a true gem. As for the Nebula Turbo, it’s not terrible, but it’s not exceptional either.
New Content
In addition to the discounts, there’s also some new content in this update. The web-based license plate creator replaces the app, and there are a bunch of new death matches to try out. Make sure to check out our detailed review of each of these over the next few days.
