The Big Score (Obvious)

hi in this video we’re going through how to get gold in
the obvious approach to the gta 5 heist the big score
hi welcome back my name’s Dan and i’m an old grumpy gamer grand theft auto is a truly massive
game between gta 5 and the constant updates from rockstar for gta online there’s no shortage of
new content and interesting things to do join me then in our continuing series getting gold
in everyday mission in gta 5 as we look at the obvious approach to the grand theft auto heist
the big score before we dive in if you’re new to the channel we do how-to guides news and
giveaways so consider subscribing and ring the bell to stay up to date getting gold in this one
is fairly challenging especially considering how many moving parts we have in play before you start
i highly recommend that each of our protagonists has full health and armor grenades rpg ammunition
and heavy machine gun ammunition and if your shooting isn’t at full yet spending some time
at the range won’t hurt either to get gold in this one we’ll need to kill 20 enemies with headshots
maintain an accuracy of 60 or better drop the gold onto the train within 30 seconds
and finish the whole mission in less than 16 minutes flat so let’s pick it up from outside
the vanilla unicorn we’ll just jump straight into the end of the car and you can see that
we have the gps marker it’s just a case of following the yellow gps all the way to the bank
need to get up the ramp there and then just off to the left and you pull up out front the uh you can
see the marker there there we are a little bit of exposition here there we go auto swap to franklin
with the driller there you can see the yellow spot we want to go to the wall just
on the right there so head straight over to it and drive straight on in
spool up the cutter you can see the controls up the top right there
there we go skip the cutscene and pull the truck or sorry the the driller back out
excellent okay
there we go change to the sticky bombs grenades will work here too
but sticky bombs do make it a bit easier to get through so
back it up get clear and then fire them off when you can there we go done
swap to the shotguns and we shall now await
some company you can see that it’s all come up on the radar there
so we just need to take these guys out
a few more on the other side there so grab some cover again
a few more a bit further up so let’s just swap to something with a bit longer range and yeah
there we go one more to go there he is that’s it fantastic so our partner’s already started
wheeling everything out we’ll just uh stay on overwatch here for a moment skip the cutscene
we’re going to sort these guys out
okay now don’t be afraid to lob a grenade over here as well i find that’s kind of handy but
shawty’s done the trick here we’ve got a few more guys rappelling in so grab some cover
and take them out as well just keep an eye on that mini map though to make sure there aren’t
any more behind you that haven’t been taken care of now we can swap to trevor there we go
great so we’re in the tpi chopper with lester and we’re just following our partner for the moment
we’re eventually heading back to uh to the trains excellent and auto swap to michael
great so you can see here we’re already undercover michael’s got plenty of people to take care of
i think we’re using the ballpark at the moment something with a bit of range
there we go and we just need to make sure that all of these guys are taken care of
push up got some cover there
something a bit shorter range and let’s see if we can take out a few more guys
swap to longer range again
there he is oh no wait for him to pop his head back up can we get him there we go
oh shot him in the butt is that him sorted no it isn’t all right now he’s done
there we go yeah it looks like one more off to the left there
so we’ll just uh get out of range grab some cover and take him out there we go that’s him sorted
push forward again
chat for that filler on the right too all right so swap to the launcher and
make sure we have a plum shot here when we’re ready there we go that’s him sorted
there he goes grab some cover
absolutely making the most of michael’s ability while we can as well
all right so down onto the bridge there’s one or two more left there
so get that shooter that was a that was a good shot i was pretty happy with that excellent and
swap to franklin there there we are
all right so grab some cover again
make sure we don’t accidentally take out michael or one of our sidekicks
grab a bit more cover here and clear the stairway there’s still a mark of
this it looks like someone so there he is all right here we are okay let’s take out the uh
at least take out the shooter that’s those guys taking out let’s see if we get the pilot as well
yep he’s done and back over to michael again why not up the stairs and we just need to push
forward there make sure that we’re not thinking i’m going completely where are we there we are
all right do we have a aircraft to take out there he is right they haven’t spotted us yet so
just make sure we get that shot plumb there we go and push forward again make sure we
don’t take out our sidekicks especially franklin they get very upset if you do that
so you have to be quite accurate with the shooting but still a bit of fun
all right make sure you keep an eye on that mini map so you get a good
idea of where people are as well you don’t accidentally leave yourself open
he’s still there yep got him right okay push forward again
all right another chopper a bit of cover and yeah got some ammo left so let’s uh take these guys out
there we go that sim sorted
and back to franklin again he’s not fair and terribly well so
we’ll just stick with michael for a minute where are they there we go
sort out these guys as well
the glass balustrade here is surprisingly resilient as well which is always nice
now i’m also a fan of lobbing a grenade at these guys as well with the grenade
launcher if you feel like it but just stick with the shooting right into the
car park so we’ve got this one guy here let’s see if we can shoot him
oh no that’s going to miss yep now off to the left there all right so let’s try again if you can get
them before they get out the car it makes it a lot easier to deal with them all right another one
yeah haven’t missed that time there we go
anymore yep
yep got him
that’s a lot easier than shooting your way out
so straight into the cart and then head out and we just need to lose the cops next
so five star warrant which isn’t too um isn’t too bad but it’s
still a bit challenging so i’ll just go off the highway sorry off the uh the
ramp there and onto the highway and that will allow us to put some real distance on the place
if we want to there was also the little tunnel to the left that you could have taken
so let’s just go and there we go another spot to hide
and what we want to do is just keep a really really good eye on the mini
map there to see where the field of vision is we’ve been spotted there we go nearly had it
and with the five stars as well you want to try and stay undercover or in between big buildings
as much as possible so that you stay out of the line of sight of the helicopters
lost us again that’s great so again just keeping an eye on that mini map to make sure that we have
what we keep out of the line of sight of the police
driving into the impound lots probably not a great idea so we’ll head out over here instead
we’re just about clear of the warrant so we shouldn’t be too far off the mark now
there we go that’s clear so swap to trevor
and we pick up trevor’s story with him being pursued by meriwether and lester with an
absolute bloodlust which is utterly hilarious if i’m honest so let’s ascend over the vinewood sign
push forward and we’re following the blue dot which is our partner there
have to deal with meriwether first
so what we need to do here is get lester into a position where he can shoot off his first
his rockets he’s already shot off one so that’s fantastic
it’s really a case of keeping the choppers steady
there we go he’s dropped off one
okay yep that worked right so one remaining they’re going to go through the wind farm we
do need to descend into that a bit but do keep an eye on those blades
there we go watch out for that
i think we’ve got him that time yep there we go and one of the turbines is off so that makes it
easy to get through excellent again just keeping an eye on the blue dot our partner
there we just need to follow them back to the rail yard i think it is or the train
there we go now we have about 15 or 20 seconds to get the box onto the train so line yourself up
and very patiently there we go storm that in no problems at all all right ascend
wait for the exposition to finish and then head to trevor’s airport
so we have the yellow marker there we just need to pull up
plonk ourselves down near enough is good enough there’s michael and co and we’ll skip the cutscene
and that is gold so absolutely stormed it in with a whopping 59 seconds to spare on the time we got
our 2020 headshots 24 seconds so that was a lot longer than i thought but we still scraped it
in with six seconds to spare and an accuracy of a whopping 97 absolutely stoked with how that turned
out not to mention the full take as well which is always nice so what are your thoughts do you have
