We’re going through how to get Gold in the GTA 5 Mission Minisub, where we get to practice our sharpshooting, and go for a dip.

Grand Theft Auto is a truly massive game. Between GTA 5 and the constant updates from Rockstar for GTA Online; there’s no shortage of new content and interesting things to do.

Join me, then, in our continuing series, getting gold in every damn mission, in GTA 5 as we look at Grand Theft Auto Mission Minisub.

…and don’t forget to hang about until the end, so you can catch our bonus tips for this mission.

Getting gold in this mission is pretty straightforward; but I recommend going the for the medal in a subsequent playthrough, as there are some important cutscenes we’ll need to skip to hit the timer.

Before you head in, you should also make sure you have ammo for your sniper rifle.

To get gold in this one we’ll need to

* Steal the submersible without boarding the ship
* Complete the mission in under 8:30

“U In My Arms” by Jeremy Blake

Following the decision by Trevor to use chopper and submarine, a yellow submersible is stolen from the cargo ship at the Port of Los Santos. Trevor can sneak on the boat and release the cables that hold the submarine via an on-ship control panel. To free the submarine. One watchdog is to avoid or kill Trevor. Alternatively Trevor can take the cables holding the submarine, which allow the submarine to fall into the water by means of a sniper rifle. Anyway Trevor then has to pilot the submarine to another section of the port and board it. Floyd draws the submarine out of the water with the aid of the crane and sets the submarine with a large flat-bed trailer on a half-truck. The submarines are tied down by Trevor and Floyd and driven together to a safekeeping port warehouse.

This mission is the only heavy-duty set-up mission in both options A and B.
This mission is one of the first cases of dolphin observation in the game. Many people are often interested in the Submersible, and can be identified by calling them.

The trailer can be unhooked and a different truck can be pulled from the Packer. However, the same Packer used to pull the Submersible appears during the Merryweather Heist instead of the previously used truck.

If the player skips the Submersible cutscene, the crane is not present.

You can also allow the cutscene to play as usual, drive away and return where the car is loaded. The crane is not there, but the steel cable can be seen floating in the center of the air.

The Submersible remains on the trailer during the Mission and won’t move unless it has a tough collision. However, if the player tries to take the trails after the mission has ended, it could cause the sub to shake violently to the point where it explodes (the truck is pushed until it is released with another half-truck).

The sub is rarely gone, but the truck and the trailer are not.
