Hi in this video we’re going to show you how to get gold in grand theft auto’s
second mission franklin and lamar where we’ll learn about franklin’s focus
ability how to keep the car damage free and
might even get to see an alien or two

grand theft auto is a truly massive game between gta 5
and the constant updates from rockstar for gta online there’s no shortage of

gold in every damn mission in gta 5 as we
look at grand theft auto mission 2 franklin and lamar and don’t forget to

to use franklin’s focus ability for at least seven seconds
beat lamar in the impromptu race and get the car to simians without any
major damage let’s skip the extended introductory
cutscene and dive right into the action where we start with franklin and lamar
at the back gate of the house walk up the alley way or sneak it’s your
call doesn’t matter too much and out to the cars on the right pick a
car and jump in it doesn’t matter which one head out
onto the highway and turn left being mindful of the traffic next up
hang it right at the exit being careful to miss the truck
and about now franklin’s ability will be unlocked about halfway up the hill
so you can keep an eye on the top left of your screen for the activation
buttons follow lamar around the top of the road
and you can use this focus ability here to make it easier to get around the
corner just be sure to release the accelerator
before coming out of focus so the car remains under control round
to the left thread the needle between the cross
traffic watch free it’s pulling out without looking
bare right and turn right
he’s off and take another right no need for you to collect the mailbox too
and follow lamar through the studio gate watch out for actors here they’re all
over the place especially this clown take it easy through the gate so you
don’t damage the car and we’re back on track
hang a left at the gap between the buildings through the service road and
off to the left and go around the signals and keep an
eye on that truck next obstacle is a set of doubles do not
speed over these and really do not use franklin’s ability
off to the left and stick to the correct side of the road while the bar acts like
a tool cross over to avoid traffic and then
head down to the right as you head around the next corner stand
the left hand side of the road to avoid the carnage
around to the right watch the bus and into the car park on the left
now we want to stick to the right here to avoid that van
okay now here’s the most important part of the exercise
as you make your way out the car park and under the daily globe building
use the left lane floor it you’ll go over the crest and as soon as
you land activate franklin’s focus ability
pull past lamar
and swing around to the left and you’ve just won the race while this
is going uh that’s the main part done we’ve
gotten through focus ability and we’ve gotten through
winning the race the next part is to get back to simians without too much damage
so as we come out of the cutscene the police will be on your tail
plant the foot veering to the left of the oncoming car and going out the right
hand gate turn left left again
and use your focus ability to pull into this car park
down the ramp and hit the brakes hard then hide in the loading bay
i like to change the car’s look a little and hide hide
once the warrant has gone head out the car park be careful at the top of the
ramp sometimes the cops will camp there head back to simians following the gps
marker on your map and once you’re back there’s a cutscene
with a whole bunch of exposition we’ll skip it for this exercise but i highly
recommend you watch it finally meet our new ride the bravado

easing off the accelerator immediately before coming out of focus
helps maintain the car’s control tapping the brakes immediately before a sharp
crest will prevent air time franklin can stop on a dime when braking
