Grand Theft Auto is a truly massive game. Between GTA 5 and the constant updates from Rockstar for GTA Online; there’s no shortage of new content and interesting things to do.
Join me, then, in our continuing series, getting gold in every damn mission, in GTA 5 as we look at Grand Theft Auto mission Legal Trouble.
Before we dive in; if you’re new to the channel, we do How To Guides, News and Giveaways; So consider subscribing and ringing the bell, to stay up-to-date.
Getting gold in this one is relatively straightforward, but the time limit can take some of the enjoyment out of the mission; as any serious misstep during the initial run-down, can result in going over time.
So let’s pick it up from the front of Solomon’s office…

Michael is surprised to find Devin Weston and his assistant Molly Schultz there after arriving at Solomon’s office. Devin continues to clarify that, being one of the two shareholders in Richards Majestic Productions (the other being the “idiot” son of Solomon Richards), he plans to pull the plug on their latest film in order to receive a massive insurance payout. He’ll pay off the son of Solomon with that money to agree to tear down the film lot in order for Devin to build tax-free condos.
Solomon tries to protect the movie reel, but Molly snatches the movie from his arms forcibly. Michael follows Molly, who takes the film reel (Meltdown) by plane to an unknown, discreet offshore location. Michael storms out of Solomon’s office and pursues her, refusing to abandon his first film.
Molly had a police escort team paid for by Weston by the time Michael arrived at Los Santos International Airport. On the airport runways, Michael pursues Molly, causing huge amounts of mayhem along the way. Eventually, Molly was ordered to pull over by the police, but they were ignored until Molly stopped at Devin Weston’s hangar, where a jet was waiting for them to board the film. In a panic, Molly, who is conscious of Michael pursuing her, runs into the hangar, where she is sucked into the jet engine, dropping the film. As the cops are now pursuing him to enter a restricted area, Michael collects the film and has to lose his desired level. Michael escapes from the police successfully, concluding the mission.
In a post-mission phone call with Solomon, Michael learns that because of it being shot digitally, there were backups of the movie, making the chase, Devin’s plans and Molly’s death all for nothing. He is soon cheered up, however, by Solomon announcing a full-fledged Vinewood premiere for Meltdown.
“The Bureau Raid” and its immediate follow-up missions have to be completed before the premiere, despite Solomon saying that the invitations are on their way.
