The Parachute Jump: Turbine Terror
The objective in this mission is straightforward. The critical factor is that you need to hit the dead center of the target. Even a few inches off will drop your percentage and first-time bonus. The good thing is you can retry this mission as many times as you like without affecting your score.
To start this mission, we’ll need to make our way to the wind farm. You’ll see it marked on the map. As we’re about to make the leap, we’ve got controls top left, and just a half a second or two of free fall before we need to pull the shoot. Take a quick dive, and we need to use the checkpoints. This course is a little bit easier for the checkpoints than the last course, the racecourse one, but we still need to make a couple of turns, and we need to keep an eye on where the turbines are with the wind farm.
If you go down too early or touch one of those blades, you are in all sorts of trouble. Fortunately, Rockstar has put some helpful little markers in as you move through checkpoints if they’re off-screen. This is the only set of missions that has the minutiae.
As we approach that last checkpoint, we need to slow our roll a little bit. Controls are on-screen for that one, and we gently touch down a little off-center, but it still considers it 100, which is absolutely fantastic!
