GTA 5 Rampage Mission: Ballas – How to get gold
If you’re a fan of Grand Theft Auto, then you’re no stranger to the vast world of possibilities that come with it. Between Grand Theft Auto 5 and the constant updates from Rockstar in GTA Online, there is never a dull moment with new content and interesting things to do.
In this video, Dan, an experienced GTA gamer, takes you through the Rampage mission Ballas in GTA 5 as he offers a walkthrough on how to get gold. This mission can be pretty challenging, especially if you’re not a great shot.
How to get gold
In order to obtain gold in this rampage mission, you need to kill 50 Ballas, get six headshots, and destroy two vehicles.
As Trevor starts drilling the purple gang, you’ll notice that you need to quickly take care of the first wave of attackers. Keep an eye on that minimap to absolutely make sure you do not get flanked. It is essential to take out the foes fast as they mount up. Fortunately, there’s a bit of a kill box here with this alleyway, so it’s not quite as open as it is in the other ones.
Throw a grenade into the mix and take out that vehicle. Take a few extra seconds while they’re stunned to ensure you get those headshots. Remember to keep moving around a bit to make sure you aren’t much of a target. Cars will provide a little bit of cover, so you can advance a bit there without too many hassles. Heading into that kill box makes it easier to channel them and keep your back safe.
You’ll have to deal with some more sneaky shooters coming up behind you. This rampage mission is easier compared to some of the others, simply because of the way they channel in along that alleyway rather than being big and open like the other ones. Keep an eye up on the ground level and look out for enemy fire coming from unexpected angles.
Remember to take short shots, singles, and small bursts rather than big long straights and the old spray and pray. This technique will waste less ammo, and you won’t have to reload frequently. Don’t worry about accuracy, but focus on taking out the enemy troopers and completing the game objectives.
Keep moving, keep an eye on the minimap, and you should be right. If done right, you’ll have 53 kills and smashed the mission by killing 50 enemies, getting six headshots, and destroying two cars.
