Speculation on GTA V Online's 2022 summer DLC suggests it will be movie-focused and may feature a solo storyline with new weapons and vehicles. Players may need around $2.5 million to get started, with $6 million offering a better position. Maxing shooting expertise may also be recommended.

Speculation on What You’ll Need for the GTA 5 Online 2022 Summer DLC

With the 2022 summer DLC drop fast approaching, it’s time to look at what you’ll probably need to have handy in Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) Online. Rockstar constantly updates GTA Online, and there’s no shortage of new content and interesting things to do. This article will do a bit of speculation on what you’ll likely need for the GTA 5 Online 2022 Summer DLC.

Rumors have been circulating that we’ll be looking at a movie-focused DLC, featuring Michael De Santa from story mode. Michael is the crew’s resident trigger man and a bit of a movie buff. Other characters we interact with from story mode are Ron, the pilot with the hanger business; Trevor, the head of a drug empire with his missions centering around illicit substances; and Franklin, the will man with The Contract DLC which had a bunch of hot land-based vehicles. Considering all of these characters, it’s likely that we’ll end up with a movie set focused series of missions with a particular emphasis on gunplay. So, we may see a few new vehicles, but most likely some new weapons. The story around the DLC will probably be largely a solo affair, especially considering how the last few solo releases have been received by the community. In addition, with the success of these short trips, we may see a new game mode or two – hopefully, something where we can take control of Michael, Amanda, or even Solomon Richards.

Preparing for the Next DLC

If this speculation turns out to be accurate, you’ll likely need to prep for the next DLC. The first thing we’d suggest is maxing your shooting if you’ve not done so already. That means some time at the shooting range or down the end of Del Perro Pier. If you’re unsure of what to do, there’s a link to a video in the description that will take you through the fastest way to max your shooting stat.

As always, money is an important factor, so you’ll need to have a significant amount saved up. But, we have no idea how much is needed for the upcoming DLC. So let’s take a look at what worked for the last few DLC’s:

Previous GTA DLC’S Entry Points and Costs

  • The Cayo Perico Heist DLC Entry Point: $2.4 million (Kraken Torador and all of the extras for the sub and the vehicles cost around $20 million)
  • The Los Santos Tuners DLC Entry Point: $1.9 million
  • The Contract DLC Entry Point: $2.2 million (buying absolutely everything from that DLC was at least $30 million)

Keep in mind that these amounts include buying many things that may not be necessary for the upcoming DLC. With that in mind, we suspect that to buy absolutely everything, we’ll probably need somewhere around $40 to $45 million, but that’s just ridiculous. Realistically, we think you’ll be able to get started at around $2.5 million, but if you can scrape together six million or more, you’ll probably be in a much better position. But again, this is all speculation, and there’s no solid indication of what’s happening from Rockstar.

In conclusion, with rumors circulating of a new movie-focused DLC, it would be wise to max out the shooting stat and save up a significant amount of money. While there’s no official word yet from Rockstar, we hope that this article has given you some ideas on what to expect and how to prepare for the GTA 5 Online 2022 Summer DLC.

with the 2022 summer dlc drop fast
approaching it’s time to look at what
you’ll probably need to have handy in
gta 5 online
hi and welcome back my name’s dan and
i’m an old grumpy gamer grand theft auto
is a truly massive game between gta 5
and the constant updates of rockstar for
gta online there’s no shortage of new
content and interesting things to do
join me then as we do a bit of
speculation on what you’ll likely need
for the gta 5 online 2022 summer dlc but
before we dive in if you’re new to the
channel we do how-to guides news and
giveaways so consider subscribing and
ringing the bell to stay up to date
while rockstar haven’t officially
announced the summer dlc yet it
typically drops sometime in early july
and with ned luke’s weird tweet i’d say
to be coming sooner rather than later
rumor has it and it is only rumor but
rumor has it we’ll be looking at a
movie-focused dlc that may or may not
feature michael for those of you not
familiar with story mode michael de
santa is the crew’s resident trigger man
and is also a bit of a movie buff
looking at other characters we interact
with from story mode we have ron who’s
the pilot with the hanger business
trevor who’s the head of a drug empire
with his missions centering around
illicit substances and franklin who is
story mode’s will man with the contract
dlc which had a bunch of hot land-based
vehicles so given that i personally
think that it’s likely we’ll end up with
a movie set focused series of missions
with a particular emphasis on gun play
so that likely means a few new vehicles
but most likely some new weapons i’d
also suggest the story around the dlc
will be largely a solo affair especially
considering how the last few solo
releases have been received by the
community in addition with the success
of these short trips we may see a new
game mode or two hopefully something
where we can take control of michael
amanda or even solomon richards right so
what does that mean we’ll likely need
prep for the next dlc again this is only
speculation but considering michael is a
trigger man the first thing i’d suggest
is maxing your shooting if you’ve not
done so already that means some time at
the shooting range or down the end of
del pero pier but if you’re unsure of
what to do there’s a link to a video in
the description below that will take you
through the fastest way to max your
shooting staff the next thing as always
is money again i have no idea what’s
coming but let’s take a look back at the
last few dlc’s to see what worked for
them now i’m going to skip the hsw stuff
because that’s kind of a so-called e e
thing and really didn’t affect a huge
number of players percentage-wise plus
them on pc so it’s really hard for me to
review which brings me to the contract
dlc the entry point for this one was two
million two hundred and ten thousand
this got you the cheapest agency
building and the cheapest motorcycle
club which you needed to be able to run
the main storyline buying absolutely
everything from that dlc was nutty with
the top agency all the cars weapons and
clothes you could easily drop 30 mil
plus honestly though the sweet spot was
around about five million dollars for an
agency all the functional upgrades a few
little aesthetic touches and the ceo’s
office if you don’t already have one
going further back it was the los santos
tuners dlc which is a car guy’s dream
woeful story though and my word that
acting the minimum spend on the dlc was
a touch over 1.9 million which got you
the cheapest no feels auto shop and the
cheapest motorcycle clubhouse if you
didn’t already have one if i recall
correctly to get everything and i mean
everything for this dlc though was well
over 40 mil roughly 5 million 500 seem
to be about right though you could have
a nicer location and all of the
functional upgrades again including the
ceo’s office if you didn’t already have
one and finally going back to the first
fully solo dlc the kyo perico heist the
entry point to this one was two million
four hundred thousand that’s two point
two mil for the casaka and two hundred
grand for the cheapest clubhouse if you
didn’t own one already once you
accounted for the kraken torador and all
of the extras for the sub and the
vehicles though we’re kind of pushing
around about 20 million dollars if you
could squeak together 6 million or so
however you could grab the sub the
chopper and the ceo’s office again if
you didn’t already have one and the
sparrow made life a lot easier making
the difference between three hours of
setups in about 45 minutes so with that
in mind i suspect to buy absolutely
everything we’ll probably be needing
somewhere around the 40 to 45 million
mark but that’s just ridiculous
realistically i think you’ll be able to
get started at around about two million
five hundred but if you can scrape
together six million even you’ll
probably be in a much better position
but again this is all speculation and we
have no solid indication of what’s
happening from rockstar but anyway
thanks for watching check out the video
up the top for another guide or the one
down the bottom for some more old grumpy
game of goodness stay safe wash your
hands and we’ll see you in the next
video
you
