Mk II Oppressor Nerf: Testing the Difference

The Mark II Oppressor in GTA 5 Online's Summer 2022 DLC has been adjusted based on community feedback, with reduced effectiveness of homing missiles and longer cooldowns on countermeasures. While there is a difference in gameplay, it may not be a game changer. Grinders will appreciate the changes.

The Adjustments to the Mark II Oppressor in the New GTA 5 Online Summer 2022 DLC Update to the Criminal Enterprises

GTA online players have been waiting with anticipation for the release of Rockstar’s summer 2022 DLC, and it has finally arrived. Rockstar has added a plethora of new content to the game based on community feedback, and it’s a welcome change that has rekindled gamers’ love for this classic title. In this video, we focus on one of the most overpowered vehicles in the game, the Mark II Oppressor, which has been adjusted in the new DLC update.

The Criminal Enterprises Summer DLC 2022

The Criminal Enterprises summer DLC 2022 is the latest addition to the Grand Theft Auto franchise. Rockstar promised to deliver content based on gamers’ feedback, and they have kept their word. New missions, cars, and customizations have been added to the game, allowing players to explore and discover what’s new. But the most significant introduction has been the adjustments to the Mark II Oppressor, a vehicle that had become the griefer’s tool of destruction.

The Oppressor Nerf

The Mk II Oppressor is one of the most overpowered vehicles in the game and a griefer’s dream. It can fire unlimited missiles, which are nearly impossible to dodge, and it can outrun most vehicles, making it difficult to take down. Rockstar has listened to gamers’ feedback and nerfed the Oppressor in the latest DLC update. The Oppressor can no longer fire missiles as rapidly as before, and the countermeasures now have a longer cooldown time.

Oppressor Missiles, Flares, and Chaff

In this video, we take a look at the Oppressor’s missiles, flares, and chaff. Before the update, the Oppressor could fire missiles without issue, and any attempt to attack it was futile. The Opressor’s flares and chaff were equally as effective, making it challenging to take the vehicle down. However, after the update, there is a definite slowdown in the Oppressor’s missile-firing capacity, and the cooldown time for flares and chaff has increased. This adjustment has evened the playing field and given players a fighting chance to take down the Oppressor.

Mark II Oppressor

The Mk II Oppressor is one of the most popular vehicles in GTA Online, thanks in part to its overpowered abilities. The Oppressor allows gamers to fly through Los Santos and destroy everything in their path, but it has come at a cost. The Oppressor became the favorite tool for griefers, which made it challenging for players to progress in the game. However, with the adjustments made in the new DLC update, the playing field has been levelled, and gamers can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Griefer Nerf

The Mark II Oppressor had become the griefer’s tool of destruction, leaving other players feeling frustrated and hopeless. With the updates made in the Criminal Enterprises Summer DLC, the griefer’s dominant reign is over. Players can now take the griefer’s down with a little bit of skill, and they no longer have to fear for their progress or their lives in the game.

The Verdict

In conclusion, the adjustments to the Mark II Oppressor have made a significant difference in the way gamers play GTA Online. The playing field has been levelled, and players no longer have to fear the griefer’s wrath. The Oppressor’s missile-firing capacity has been slowed down, and flares and chaff now have a longer cooldown time. But most importantly, players can now progress through the game without the fear of being griefed constantly.

What are your thoughts on the new DLC update to GTA Online? Do you think the Oppressor was nerfed enough, or do you think more adjustments need to be made? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

we’re taking a super quick look at the adjustments to the mark to oppressor in the new gta 5 online
summer 2022 dlc update to the criminal enterprises
hi and welcome back my name’s dan and i’m an old grumpy gamer well this summer 2022 dlc has arrived
and i’m here for it rockstar have added a bunch of new stuff to grand theft auto online largely based
on community feedback and it really is a welcome change join me then as we take a super quick look
into the adjustments to the mark ii oppressor in gta 5 online before we dive in if you’re new to
the channel we do how-to guides news and giveaways so consider subscribing and ringing the bell to
stay up to date according to the rockstar newswire the mark ii oppressor one of the most overpowered
vehicles in the game and a cargo griefer’s wet dream is getting nerfed we’re talking about a
reduction in the effectiveness of homing missiles and a longer cooldown on countermeasures so
we thought we might test this out let’s start with a control sample looking at this footage
taken before the dlc released we’ve got an oppressor against the sparrow we can see the
oppressor locks on pretty quickly and even with the sparrow attempting to evade it’s
more or less a guaranteed game over for the pilot of the sparrow same goes for a land based vehicle
too as soon as that targeting locks on the driver is more or less done for looking at the so-called
nerfed mark ii we can see a bit of a difference but not so much there’s a major change in gameplay
i’m certainly no pc pilot crew pilot but i’m not bad at dealing with tryhards and it’s still a bit
of an effort to get clear of those missiles with the new countermeasures available to the sparrow
though we’re actually in with a fighting chance don’t get me wrong you’ll still need to be on
the ball but it’s no longer a done deal next up let’s check out these counter measures so
we can see here the oppressor could just dump flare after flare without issue and
looking at how they work with the sparrow they’re pretty effective at range too we can really only
hit an oppressor if the rider isn’t paying attention or makes a pretty solid mistake
same goes for the shoulder mounted homing missiles we can even see how hard the missiles
veer off when the cannon measures are fired after the update there’s a definite slowdown
in the firing of countermeasures it’s hard to say precisely how long but there’s a clear difference
is it a game changer yeah maybe time will tell on this one but i’ll take any improvement that’s
it offered to the mark ii because as a grinder i really struggled with this stuff so what are
your thoughts is this a big difference will this change your experience in game or is it kind of
moot with the new ability to complete sell missions in invite only lobbies we’re
super keen to hear your opinions on this one so please comment down below or hit us up on
twitter in the meantime thanks for watching check out the video up the top for another
dlc quick guide or the one down the bottom for some more old grumpy game of goodness stay safe
wash your hands and we’ll see you in the next video
